APPOINTMENTS MADE BY PRESIDENT KINLEY The Secretary presented for record a list of appointments made by the President of the University. Anderson, C. R., Assistant in the Department of English, for five months, beginning February i, 1924, at a salary of one hundred sixty dollars ($160) a month. (December 7, 1923)* Aries, Harriet S., Nurse in the Department of Ophthalomology and Medicine, for nine months, beginning January 16, 1924, at a salary of one hundred sixteen and two-thirds dollars ($116.66) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (January 8, 1924) Ashbaugh, W . W., Field Assistant in the Department of Farm Organization and Management, in the Agricultural Experiment Station, for eight months, beginning January 1, 1924, at a salary of one hundred sixteen and two-thirds dollars ($116.66) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous one. (December i7> 1923) Beilin, D. S., Assistant in Surgical Pathology, in the College of Medicine, beginning January 1, 1924, and continuing until September 1, 1924, without salary. (January 8, 1924) Bruner, Helen H., Stenographer in the Office of the Dean of the College of Engineering, beginning December 1, 1923, and continuing until September 1, 1924, at a salary of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (December 1, 1923) Burdick, Gail J., Clerk in the Purchasing Division of the Business Office for eight months, beginning January 1, 1924, at a salary of sixty-five dollars ($65) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (December 20, 1923) Cover, Mildred M., Stenographer in the Office of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, for seven months, beginning December 1, 1923, at a salary of one hundred fifteen dollars ($115) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (December 19, 1924) Crossman, Anna M., Clerk and Stenographer in the Department of Railway Engineering, beginning January 1, 1924, and continuing until September 1, 1924, at a salary of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (January 7, 1924) Eden, Mrs. Morine P., Clerk in the Auditing Division of the Business Office, beginning January 1, 1924, and continuing until September 1, 1924, at a salary of eighty-five dollars ($85) a month.
