T h e following resolution offered b y Mr. S m i t h was a d o p t e d : Resolved, That all communications pertaining to matters of business or to appointments, to be presented to the Board of Trustees for actio-n, first be presented to President Draper for his examination and recommendation, and such other suggestions as he may deem proper. This order shall apply to the U. S. Agricultural Experiment Station and to the State Laboratory of Natural History, as well as to other departments of the University.
