I . i p s will feel that the Trustees have proceeded ''mu wir-inly in the Architectural development of that area. TIHSPO are now on the South Campus five new buildings ni the Georgian style of architecture and two more wi11 be finished at the end of next year. On the operating side, the University has been i mining very smoothly. Salaries compare favorably with ihose in other institutions and the UniversityTs financial condition is good. We have been able to keep -.overal of our big men on the faculty in spite of calls ihoy have received from other institutions and have. .Hided several new outstanding men to the staff. The spirit and attitude of the students has been excellent. In the fall the Trustees will decide on the buildinp; program and the operating budget for the next hiennium, 1927-29. In view of the approaching session of the Legislature, I am sure that the Alumni will wulcome the opportunity to serve the University by informing the people of the State of its needs and by interesting themselves in whatever problems may confront it. The loyalty and support of the Alumni have always been a source of encouragement and strength to the Trustees and other officers of the University and for my colleagues and myself, I wish to take this opportunity to thank you again for your help in the past. With regards and best wishes to you all, I am, Sincerely yours,
