WINTER, GRETCHEN Nonvoting Student Trustee Nonvoting Student Trustee Nonvoting Student Trustee US US US Be It Further Resolved: T h e following officers of the Board of Trustees and of the University of Illinois be and hereby are designated as the managerial group having the authority and the responsibility for the negotiation, execution, and administration of user agency contracts and all of the duties a n d responsibilities pertaining to the protection of classified information: president, secretary, and comptroller of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois; and president, vice president for administration, and university counsel of the University of Illinois. O n motion of Mr. H a h n , the foregoing resolution was adopted. Purchases (43) The president submitted, with his concurrence, a list of purchases recommended by the directors of purchases and the vice president for administration, as well as purchases authorized by the president. The list of purchases was presented in two categories: purchases from appropriated funds (i.e., from state appropriations to the University) and purchases from institutional funds. T h e latter term designates funds received by the University under contracts with the United States government, private corporations, and other organizations; grants from foundations, corporations, and other donors; and University revolving funds authorized by law.
