Lease of Space for Division of Services for Crippled Children in Chicago

(34) T h e President of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends the renewal and amendment of the lease for the office of the Division of Services for Crippled Children in Chicago, subject to the availability of funds. T h e lease would be for the period July 1, 1976, through June 30, 1977, under the following terms: Lease 43 East Ohio Street, Chicago Rentable Sq. Ft. 5,817 Annual Rental $36,356.25 Rental Cost/ Sq. Ft. $6.25

The renewal is for a one-year period at the same rate as the past year and is amended to add 1,017 square feet of rental space to meet the division's expanded obligation for urban services. Funds have been requested in the operating budget of the Division of Services for Crippled Children.

Lease of Space for Peoria School of Medicine

(35) The President of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends the renewal of the lease of space from Bradley University for the Peoria School of Medicine. T h e lease would be for the period July 1, 1976, through December 31, 1976, subject to the availability of funds under the following terms: Rentable Rental Cost/ Lease Sq. Ft. Annual Rental Sq. Ft. Burgess and Sisson Halls, Bradley University 29,821 $95,072.03 $3,188 As indicated, the extension of this lease is for six months at a cost of $47,536.02. Due to the delayed completion of the new Peoria School of Medicine Building (now anticipated to be September 1976), it is necessary to extend the current lease until the move to the new building is completed. The six-month extension will allow for unanticipated delays and will include a provision for earlier cancellation by providing a sixty-day notice. Funds have been requested in the operating budget of the Peoria School of Medicine.
