(6) T h e Acting Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Chicago Circle, through the deans, directors, and department heads, invited faculty members to submit applications for Curriculum Development Grants (termed Undergraduate Instructional Awards at Urbana) for the summer of 1976. Upon recommendation of heads of departments and review by college deans and their committees, thirty-two applications were submitted and subsequently evaluated by an intercollegiate Summer Curriculum Development Grants Committee.
