Contract for Professional Services (27) T h e President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends the continuation of the employment of Nerad & Carlsen, architects, Clarendon Hills, for consulting services in connection with the University's review of the construction contract documents for the 500-bed Replacement Hospital. T h e services will be provided on an hourly rate basis and will not exceed $25,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976, plus reimbursement for authorized travel. As a result of the planning and construction for the Replacement Hospital and other capital projects proposed for the Medical Center campus, additional assistance in the Office for Capital Programs is required. Since the level of construction activity will, in all probability, be reduced following the completion of these projects, it is beneficial for the University to contract for these additional services rather than to employ additional staff for this period of time. Funds are available in the Hospital Income Account. O n motion of Mr. H a h n , this contract was awarded by the following vote: Aye, M r . H a h n , M r . Howard, M r . Livingston, M r .
