University Patents, Inc., reports that there is no significant commercial potential in this invention. Accordingly, the University Patent Committee recommends that the rights of the University in this invention be released to the inventor. 10. Self-contained, Modular, Expandable Digital Hardware System — Michael Faiman, Associate Professor of Computer Science, Urbana, inventor. University Patents, Inc., reports that the patent protection could be avoided if desired; not justify application costs. Accordingly, the mends that the rights of the University in this idea disclosed is well known and any therefore, the potential return would University Patent Committee recominvention be released to the inventor.

O n motion of Mr. Forsyth, these recommendations were approved. Contracts for Gasoline Storage and Dispensing Area, Chicago Campuses

(13) T h e President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends award of the following contracts for construction of a new gasoline storage and dispensing area for the Chicago campuses, the award in each case being to the low bidder. Funds totaling $44,367 are available from funds assigned to the Physical Plant. Funds totaling $5,633 are available in the operating budget of the Physical Plant Department for the required electrical work which will be performed by Physical Plant forces. A schedule of bids received has been filed with the Secretary of the Board for record.

Forsyth, these contracts were awarded by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Forsyth, Mr. H a h n , Mr. Hughes, Mr. Livingston, Mr. Neal, Mrs. Rader, Mr. Steger, Mr. Swain; no, none; absent, Mr. Howard, Governor Walker. Contract for Raising Control Tower Cab at the University of Illinois-Willard Airport

(14) T h e President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends that the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics, be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the University in the amount of $146,000 with the Skoog Construction Company, Urbana, Illinois, for raising the control tower cab at the University of Illinois-Willard Airport. Concurrence and authorization to award the contract have been received from the Federal Aviation Administration by the Division of Aeronautics. This contract is a part of the Development Aid Program for the University of Illinois-Willard Airport contemplated under the terms of the grant agreement
