QUARTERLY REPORTS OF THE COMPTROLLER

(20) The Comptroller presented his quarterly reports as of June 30, 1972, and September 30, 1972.

These reports were received for record and a copy of each has been filed with the Secretary of the Board.

SECRETARY'S REPORT

The Secretary presented for record appointments to the faculty and changes of status made by the President; resignations; leaves of absence;1 and retirements. A copy of the report is filed with the Secretary.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM T H E PRESIDENT OF T H E BOARD

FUTURE MEETINGS

President Hughes called attention to the schedule of meetings for the next three months: February 21, Chicago Circle; March 21 (Annual Meeting), Urbana-Champaign; April 18, Medical Center.

T O U R O F THE DENTISTRY BUILDING

President Hughes called on Dean Seymour Yale who spoke briefly about the new dentistry facility completed recently and outlined plans for a tour of the structure by the Trustees and others. REGULAR MEETING RECESSED FOR MEETING OF BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE Mr. Hughes announced that the regular meeting would be recessed for a meeting of the Committee on Buildings and Grounds. He also announced that an executive session had been requested and would be convened after the meeting of the Committee on Buildings and Grounds to consider a report on pending litigation. EXECUTIVE SESSION When the Board reconvened in Executive Session the same members of the Board, officers of the Board, and officers of the University as recorded at the beginning of these minutes were present.
