Agricultural College, praying for a grant of land as an endowment of said Michigan Agricultural College; and Whereas we believe that the practical working of the Michigan Agricultural College fully vindicates the feasibility and correctness of the principles upon which it is founded. Therefore— Resolved, That our senators in Congress be instructed and our representatives requested to use all honorable means to secure the passage of a law in accordance with the memorial. Resolved, That the governor be requested to forward copies of the foregoing preamble and resolution to each of our senators and representatives in Congress. GEORGE A. COB, President of the Senate.
