Miss Richardson, whose verses and prose article have appeared in more than twenty national magazines, expects to continue with her writing, while making her home at 204 North Yale Street, Vermillion South Dakota. Margaret Hutchins, B.L.S.'08, M.S. Columbia University '31, assistant professor of library science, Columbia University, is on leave of absence for the year to prepare a volume on reference work which will be published by the American Library Association in January, 1943. Marcus Skarstcdt, B.L.S.'ll, resigned as librarian of Whittier College, Whittier, California, t o become librarian of the San Francisco Junior College, September 1, 1940. Jessie June Glass, 1916-17, 1925-26, has resigned her position at the Olive View Sanatorium Branch of the Los Angeles County Library, Olive View, California, to become assistant in the Public Library, Los Angeles, California. Her home address is 524 S. Catalina Street, Los Angeles, California. James R. Crulledge, 1919-20, M.S/32, died of appendicitis February 27, 1941 in Greenville, North Carolina. From 1930 to 1935, Mr. Gulledge was a member of the Loan Department at the University of Illinois Library, and from that time until his death was librarian of the East Carolina Teachers College at Greenville, North Carolina., Grace Murray, B.L.S/20, resigned as W P A district supervisor at Rockford, Illinois, to become an assistant in the Reference Department of the Illinois State Library at Springfield, Illinois, February 19, 1941. Leah G, T e n Cate, 1921-22, died in January, 1941. Miss Ten Cate had been librarian of the Englewood High School, Chicago, Illinois, since 1927. Mrs. Florence Blackburn T h o m e , B.L.S/21, crowned her sabbatical leave of 1940-41 with an M.A. in English in June from the University ot Illinois.
