Evelyn Choate Beamer, B.S. '31, for several years librarian of th* lie Library at Plymouth, Indiana, was married on the 9th of October to dmtind J. Fiekers. They will be at home at 1720 Military Street. Port Michigan.

Maxine L. Hegland, B.S. 31, has resigned her position at the Univerf Minnesota and is now assistant secretary to the Director of Stanford University Library, Stanford University, California. Beulah Ruth McCoy, B.S. '31, has resigned her position in the catalog department of the University of Cincinnati Library, Cincinnati, to accept a position in the catalog d e p a r t m e n t of T e m p l e University Library, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Miss McCoy visited in England, France, Switzerland nd Italy during this last summer. ' Annie Sue Montgomery, B.S. '31, has resigned her position in the reference department of the University of Kentucky Library at Lexington, Kentucky, to become head of the reference d e p a r t m e n t of the Evansville,' Indiana, Public Library. Marion Phillips, B.S. '31, resigned her position as librarian of the [oorhead, Minnesota, Public Library, to accept a position on the staff of the Minneapolis, Minnesota Public Library. Loretta W. Swift, B.S. '31, resigned her position on the staff of Dakota Wesleyan University L i b r a r y at Mitchell, South Dakota, to become librarian of the State Teachers College Library at Valley City, North Dakota. Mary Ellen Davis, B.S. '32, head of foreign language library, State lversity of Iowa, Iowa City, was married August 3, 1937 to William J. Moore, a senior medical student at the State University of Iowa. Mrs. Moore will continue in her former position at Iowa. Phoebe Dimock, B.S. '32, resigned as librarian of Pikeville College, Pikeville, Kentucky, to become assistant cataloger at Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana. Irene Gelinas, B.S. '32, resigned her position as librarian of Tennessee Wesleyan College Library at Athens, Tennessee, to become assistant law librarian at the W a s h i n g t o n University Law School library, St. Louis, Missouri. Marian Hemmings, B.S. '32, has accepted the position in charge of the hio Pythian Children's H o m e , Springfield, Ohio. Bernita Long, B.S. '32, librarian of the Law Library of the University of Hinois, was elected second vice-president of the American Association of Law Libraries at its meeting in New York City, June 21-26. Delia Mathys, A.M. '32, for the past two years acting librarian of the University of N o r t h Dakota Library at Grand Forks, has recently been appointed librarian. Marion Noble, B.S. '32, resigned her position as teacher-librarian, Fairfield High School, Columbiana, Ohio, to become cataloger of the Carnegie Free Library, Alliance, Ohio. Johnnie E. Riner, B.S. '32, resigned her position in the catalog department of the Missouri Library Commission at Jefferson City, Missouri, and is now librarian of the Cavalry School Library at Fort Riley, Kansas. Bethania M. Smith, B.S. '32, resigned her position as librarian of BuckMemorial Library, Illinois Weslevan University. Bloomington, Illinois, and has returned to the University of Illinois to take work towards the Master's degr< . majoring in Library Science. Mrs. Smith taught Reference at the University of Kentucky 1937 Summer Session. Lockwood E. Wiley, B.S.
