'31, w r i t e s : " T h e L i b r a r y School Association News Letter has just come, and as this is the first Pve seen in several years, it was particularly enjoyed. It is good to know again what Illinois graduates are [oing—especially the Class of '31. "The little item concerning me in the last letter was not correct in every detail. I am librarian of the Hindman Settlement School Library, Hindman, Kentucky. This is interesting country here on Troublesome Creek in the Kentucky hills. I have been writing a good bit about it for various publications, ly poems and short stories have appeared during the past two years in the following publications: Atlantic Monthly, Nation, Saturday Review of Literature, Yale Review, New Republic, Virginia Quarterly Review, Esquire, Sezvanee Review, Poetry: A Magazine of Verse, etc. "My first book, a volume of poetry entitled 'Hounds on the Mountain' is to be published June 7 by the Viking Press, New York." Mary Louise A n d e r s o n , B.S. '32, is now Mrs. Otis Burke and is librarian of a Junior College in the T e x a s Panhandle. S. Louise Borchelt, B.S. '32, has been transferred from one of the branches to the order department of the Evanston, Illinois, Public Library. Lois Cowgill, B.S. '32, resigned her position at Butler University to accept a position in the catalog department of the State University of Iowa. Janie R o b E v a n s , B.S. '32, is now Mrs. Walter Honth, being married •ast July, according to information received indirectly, and is continuing as an assistant in the Cincinnati Public Library. Doris A. Foley, B.S.
