There'*,' mg other Illini at the meeting who were unavoidably prevented from attending the Miss Jim P. Matthews presided. Mr. Icko Iben, though a graduate of the Illinois Library School, was an honor guest at the breakfast, as he succeeded by election of the executive committee Mrs. Cora Case Porter as president of the Southwestern Library Association for the unexpired term. Mr. Iben led the singing of "Hail to the Orange." A telegram of greeting and news from the Illinois Library School was read f rom Mr. Windsor. It was voted to send a response to Mr. and Mrs. Windsor. It was also voted to send a message to Mrs. Cora Case Porter, who resigned the presidency on account of illness, to say how much we missed her. Purposely no formal program had been prepared so that there might be more opportunity to become better acquainted. Practically each person present I contributed a news item about other Illini or about recent Illinois Library | School happenings.
