this discovery. It is the opinion of the University Patent Committee that the discovery will have little, if any, commercial value and there is some doubt that a patent can even be obtained. The Committee recommends that the University release to Dr. H a h n any interest it may have in his patent application, subject to any rights of the United States Navy in this discovery. If this is approved by the Board, the University will secure from Dr. H a h n a license agreement giving it the right to. grant an irrevocable nonexclusive royalty-free license to the United States Government. Department of Physics, remodeling in Physics Laboratory 3 000 9. Physical Plant Department, construction of parking Jot on Illinois Street 6 000 10. Chicago Professional Colleges, remodeling of apartment building to provide housing for nurses 39 476 I have also authorized the following assignments: 11. Library School, equipment for the Audio-Visual Demonstration Laboratory 1 900 12. School of Music, purchase of a grand piano I 500 13.
