LEVINE, Assistant Professor of Labor and Industrial Relations, onehalf year at half pay, with the option of leave of absence without pay for the other half year, contingent upon receipt of funds from the Conference Board of Associated Research Councils, Committee on International Exchange of Persons, under the Fulbright Act, or the Ford Foundation Board on Overseas Training and Research. O n m o t i o n of M r . H i c k m a n , t h e s e l e a v e s of a b s e n c e w e r e g r a n t e d as recommended. LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR ANNA C. GLOVER (6) Miss Anna C. Glover, Editor of Publications with the rank of Associate Professor in the Agricultural Experiment Station and the Extension Service in Agriculture and Home Economics, will retire from active service on September 1, 1954, under the provisions of the Act creating the University Retirement System of Illinois. She has been on the University staff since 1910. For several years she has been eligible to apply for a sabbatical leave of absence but has not felt justified in leaving her work for a year or for even a half year until now. She has requested that in lieu of the regular sabbatical leave of absence she be granted leave on full pay for six months from January 1, 1954, at the end of which period she would return for two months of service to close out her work before she retires on September 1, 1954. I recommend approval. O n m o t i o n of M r . G r a n g e , t h i s l e a v e w a s a p p r o v e d a s r e c o m mended.
