This is in addition to the $2,600 paid Mr. Jenner's firm by way of compensation for its services and reimbursement for its advances while the case was pending in the Circuit Court of Cook County. REASSIGNMENT OF FUNDS FOR T H E OPERATION OF T H E RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL HOSPITALS (13) T h e University biennial operating budget for 1955-57 includes a provision of $73>9i6 a year for the activation of the twelfth floor of the addition to the Research and Educational Hospitals. Prior to the activation of the twelfth floor, the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis negotiated with the University for the installation and operation of a Respiratory Center on this floor and for which the Foundation provided the funds. T h e funds for the first year of the biennium were held in reserve and were used for nonrecurring expenditures within the Hospitals.
