MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS July 25, 1950 The July meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the lllini Union Building, at the University, in Urbana, on Tuesday, July 25, 1950, beginning at 11 o'clock a.m., Central Daylight Saving Time, according to the following schedule: 11:00 a.m. — Executive session, Committee of the Whole. 2:00 p.m. — Open session. The following members were present: President Williamson, Mr. Fornof, Mr. Herrick, Mr. Hickman, Mrs. Holt, Dr. Meyer, Mrs. Watkins. President Stoddard was present; also Provost C. R. Griffith, Dean C. C. Caveny, of the Chicago Undergraduate Division, Comptroller Lloyd Morey, Mr. H. O. Farber, Assistant Comptroller, Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information, and Mr. A. J. Janata, Secretary of the Board.1
