CONTRACT FOR FILM RENTALS

(31) The Dean of the Division of University Extension recommends the award of lease-purchase contracts with three producers of educational films for periods of three or four consecutive years, at the end of which time the University will acquire full ownership of the prints. Contracts are recommended as follows: Coronet Films: 118^ reels, rental of $2,453.25 for each of three years Encyclopaedia Britannica: 114 reels, rental of $2,238.74 for each of four years Young America Films: 5 6 ^ reels, rental of $884.50 for each of three years Funds for the payment of the rental will come from income derived from the rental of the films to Illinois schools. The Comptroller recommends that the contracts be approved.
