JVotz THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION has included in the list of Gold Star Illini only those whose deaths have ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ cially confirmed. As of April 30, 1947, this number was 828; on that date the names of ten Illini were listed as "missing in action," or, so far as the records of the Alumni Association show, not officially declared to be dead.
