HUDSON About a year ago, Mr. Josef F. Wright asked to be relieved of his part-time duties as director of the University's radio stations in order to devote full time to his responsibilities as director of public information. H e was willing to continue, however, until a suitable man could be found to coordinate all broadcasting activities of the University. This man has now been found, in the person of Mr. Robert B. Hudson, whose appointment as director of University broadcasting and associate professor of journalism, has been presented to the Board today. Mr. Hudson's career is distinguished, both in radio and in adult education. H e was founder and first director of the Rocky Mountain Radio Council, one of the outstanding accomplishments in the educational use of radio. For the last four years he has been director of education for the CBS network. In this capacity he was associated with some of the network's best public service programs, such as the School of the Air, You A r e There, People's Platform, Invitation to Learning, Doorway to Life.
