RELEASES OF F U N D S FOR BUILDINGS A N D CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS (6) T h e Governor has authorized releases 1 of funds from appropriations made to the University of Illinois by the 65th General Assembly tinder Senate Bill 662, "An Act making appropriations for certain additional ordinary, contingent, and distributive expenses of State government," which included appropriationstotaling $12,994,732 to the University for buildings and other capital improvements. From the item "For permanent improvements at Urbaita-Charrtnaign: Construction of Student and Staff Apartments $400 000" Release No. 35, for plans and specifications for Student and Staff Apartments (Released August 11, 1947) 10040a Release No. 326, for construction of Student and Staff Apartments 299 60a From the item "For Contingencies to cover expenditures for purposes for which the amount appropriated in any item above enumerated is or becomes insufficient 618 845" Release No. 327, to be used in the construction of Student and Staff Apartments 168 200.
