On motion of Mr. Livingston, these wage adjustments were approved as recommended.

APPOINTMENT OF WALTER H. ROETTGER AS ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS (35) The Director of Athletics has recommended, and the Board of Directors of the Athletic Association has approved, the appointment of Walter H . Roettger as Assistant Director of Athletics effective July 1, 1949. H e will continue as A s sociate Professor of Physical Education for Men, as Head Coach of Baseball, but will be relieved of his duties as Assistant Basketball Coach in view of his increased administrative responsibilities. I concur in this recommendation.

On motion of Mrs. Holt, this appointment was approved.
