CURRICULUM IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION LEADING TO DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN RECREATION (3) The University Senate recommends the establishment of an option in the School of Physical Education curriculum leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Recreation. The degree would be awarded upon completion of the program outlined below for the junior and senior years following completion of the first two years of basic work in the School of Physical Education: First Year: Substitute D.G.S. 131-13 2 , General Biology, for Physiol. 104-105, Physiological Anatomy. Second Year: Omit Ed. 100, The American Public School; Hist. 152, History of the United States, 1822-1948; P.E.M. 160, Health Problems of School Children; the Humanities elective course and the two teaching minors courses. Add Sociology 100, Principles of Sociology; Art 187, Craft Materials and Technics; P.E.M. 201, First Aid; P.E.M. 203, Principles of Recreation; Pol.
