ADDITION TO THE CONTRACT FOR HEATING IN THE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING BUILDING (23) On March 2J, 1947 (Minutes, page 317), the Board of Trustees approved a contract with Robert Gordon, Inc., for heating and process piping, in connection with the construction of the new Mechanical Engineering Building. The Director of the Physical Plant Department requests an addition to this contract in the amount of $13,102 to provide for changes in the construction work in the shop area, made necessary by the change in use by the Department from a foundry to an internal combustion engine shop. The addition has been checked and approved by the architects, Fugard, Burt, and Wilkinson. Funds are available in the State appropriation for "Construction of a new Mechanical Engineering Building." The Comptroller recommends that the requested addition be made. I concur and request that the Comptroller and the Secretary of the Board be given authority to execute an addition to the contract with Robert Gordon, Inc. O n m o t i o n of M r .
