E A S E M E N T FOR INTERCEPTING S E W E R S (13) The Urbana-Champaign Sanitary District is about to construct additional intercepting sewers and appurtenances thereto to connect with the lateral sewers now constructed and hereafter to be constructed in the cities of Urbana and Champaign for the purpose of furnishing additional means for the disposal of domestic sewage. T h e Board of Trustees of the University on February 24, 1945, appropriated $30,200 as the University's share of the cost of constructing two new intercepting sewers. In order to construct these sewers it will be necessary for the UrbanaChampaign Sanitary District of Champaign County, Illinois, to obtain a perpetual easement upon, under, and through property which this sewer will cross. The Board of Trustees has been asked to grant the perpetual easement, privilege, right, and authority to construct, reconstruct, repair, maintain, and operate said additional intercepting sewers upon, under, and through the following described real estate situated in the County of Champaign, and State of Illinois, and along a course generally from east to west through this real estate, to wit: A strip of ground known as the old right-of-way of the street railway company, 40 feet wide and extending from Wright Street in Champaign east to what is known as Nelson or Mathews Avenue in Urbana and located in the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 18 in Township 19 North, Range 9 East, 3rd P.M., and A part of the North y2, Northwest ZA of Section 18 Township 19 North, Range 9 East of the 3rd P.M. described as follows: Commencing at the N E corner of Block 6 of J. S. Wright's addition to the City of Champaign, thence North along the West line of Wright Street in the City of Champaign, Illinois, a distance of 40 feet more or less to the S E corner of Block I in said Addition, thence West along the South line of said Block 1 to the S W corner thereof, being the East line of Sixth Street in said City of Champaign, thence South along the East line of Sixth Street, a distance of 40 feet more or less to the N W corner of Block 6 in said J. S. Wright's Addition to the City of Champaign, Illinois, thence East along the North line of said Block 6, to the place of beginning situated in the City of Champaign, County of Champaign, State of Illinois.
