T h e Business Manager of the Chicago Professional Colleges recommends that the contract be awarded to the Consumers Company, 228 N o r t h LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois, the lowest bidder, at the quoted price of $6.57 a net ton delivered, or a total expenditure of $59,130. T h e quotation of this company represents the most British Thermal Units per one cent, computed in accordance with the formula in the call for bids. This coal is produced by the Pyramid Coal Corporation, Pinckneyville, Illinois. The Director of the Physical Plant Department and the Comptroller concur in this recommendation. Approval of this recommendation is requested. U n d e r the requirements of the State Constitution, the approval of the Governor is also required on such contracts. O n m o t i o n of M r .
