MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS March 27, 1947 The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, on Thursday, March 27, 1947, according to the following schedule: 10 a.m. — Executive session, as in Committee of the Whole. 12:30 p.m. — Open session. The following members were present: President Livingston, General Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Holt (present for the first time as a member of the Board), Mr. McKelvey, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Nickell, Mr. Williamson. President Stoddard was present; also Dr. A. C. Ivy, Vice-President in charge of the Chicago Professional Colleges, Professor C. R. Griffith, Provost, Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. I. L. Porter, Treasurer, Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Professor W. E. Britton, Legal Counsel, and, during part of the day, Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information. 301
