MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS November 22, 1946 The November meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held on Friday, November 22, 1946, at the University Club, 76 East Monroe Street, Chicago, according to the following schedule: Executive session, as in Committee of the Whole, 10:30 a.m. Open session, 11:30 a.m. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Livingston, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Grigsby, Dr. Luken, Mr. McKelvey, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Williamson. General Davis took his place with the Board during the open session. Provost C. R. Griffith was present, acting for President Stoddard, also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Professor W. E. Britton, Legal Counsel, and, during the open session, Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information. During the executive session, the Board discussed items on the agenda, and took action on the following matters. 163
