NAMING OF BUILDINGS

(13) On recommendation of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the new building on Maryland Drive south of Pennsylvania Avenue has been named the Veterinary Medicine Large Animal Clinic. On recommendation of the Director of the School of Music and the Dean of the Colkge of Fine and Applied Arts, the School of Music annex building at 1204 West Nevada Street, Urbana, has been named Hill Annex for the late Professor William G. Hill, who was a member of the School of Music faculty until his death in 1953. This is especially appropriate since the building is being used as a musicological staff-student center which was Professor Hill's professional interest. The names of these buildings are being reported for the official record.

On motion of Mr. Bissell, the College of Veterinary Medicine was requested to consider abbreviating the name of the Large Animal Clinic.1
