Staley Manufacturing Company, Decatur, Illinois, $1,200 for continuation of a study of amino acids and vitamin requirements in swine nutrition by the Agricultural Experiment Station, for the period October 1, 1944, through September 30, 1945. 5. American Zinc Institute, Chicago, Illinois, $250 for a study of farm building repair needs by the Agricultural Experiment Station, for the period July 1 through December 31, 1944. 6. Grants for research on allergy antigens (research program of Dr. B. Z. Rappaport, Assistant Professor of Medicine, College of Medicine, and Dr. William H . Welker, Head of the Department of Biological Chemistry, College of Medicine) from: Mr. M. C. Birnkrant, $3,000; Asthmatic Children's Aid, $1,800; Messrs. A. D. On motion of Mr. Nickell, the action of the President of the University in accepting these gifts was approved and confirmed.
