At a hearing before the Committee on Priorities of the Commission held on September 8, the University was requested to arrange its projects in order of urgency. T h e accompanying list of projects, arranged in this manner, was prepared by the Building Program Committee on September 18, approved by President Livingston on September 19, and transmitted to the Commission later the same day. This list, together with corresponding lists from other State agencies, is to be sent soon to all members of the Priorities Committee of the Commission with recommendations concerning appropriate action on the entire program. T h e Priorities Committee will then make its recommendations to the Commission directly or possibly through certain intermediate committees. On motion of Mr. Davis, this list was approved as of September 18, 1944, with the addition (as item 17) of tfie Health and Physical Education Building, $2,300,000, with the understanding that the program is applicable as matters exist at the present time, but without prejudice to other needs and requests of the University.
