MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS April 18, 1946 The April meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at 10 o'clock a.m. (in executive session, with open session following at 12:30 p.m.) on Thursday, April 18, 1946, at the University Club, 76 East Monroe Street, Chicago. The following members were present: President Livingston, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Grigsby, Dr. Luken, Mr. McKelvey, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Nickell. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Dr. R. B. Allen, Executive Dean of the Chicago Colleges, Professor C. R. Griffith, Provost, Professor W. E. Britton, Legal Counsel, Mr. C. S. Havens, Director of the Physical Plant, and Mr. E. L. Stouffer, Architect. 1057
