APPOINTMENTS TO THE ILLINI UNION BOARD AT URBANA (16) A request that the following appointments to the Illini Union Board be confirmed. These appointees will serve until May 1, 1942. USE OF THE CHICAGO I L L I N I UNION B U I L D I N G (17) T h e Chicago Illini Union Board submits the following recommendations governing the use of the Chicago Illini Union Building. In view of service features in the Chicago Illini Union Building, such as Athletic Association Ticket Sales, ticket sales for All-University and AllAlumni functions, Information Desk, etc., it is recognized that the public must have access to the parts of the building where such services are offered. T h e use of the balance of the building (including all food, recreational, and lounge facilities) shall be limited as described hereafter: No person connected with the University or allied Institutes (Neuropsychiatric Institute and Institute for Juvenile Research), either student or staff member, may use the building without the payment of a service charge except as provided hereafter.

STUDENTS

1. All graduate, post graduate, and undergraduate students registered in the Chicago Departments will be assessed the semester service charge,, except the following: ( a ) Graduate students taking one unit or less of graduate work and who are not otherwise officially classified as undergraduate students or staff members of the University of Illinois or its allied institutes (Neuropsychiatric Institute and Institute for Juvenile Research). ( b ) Post graduate students taking refresher courses for non-academic credit. 2. T h e semester service charge paid by a student during the school year shall entitle him to the privileges of the building during that semester only. 3. Summer Session students shall be assessed one-half the full semester service charge. All exceptions offered during the school year shall be iu effect during the summer sessions. 4. A personal guest accompanied by a student member may use the facilities of the Union Building without the building service charge being paid for the guest.
