Miss sileon*§ home University of Illinois Student Section The Student Section of the Society if Women Engineers met on Sec. 8, 1964, at 7s00 P.M. in Miss Wilson's hose. The Secretary*s minutes were read and approved as read. Engineering Council Seport was called for. Engineering Council has a committee looking into the University's mathematics program to see how it could he revised. Treasurers report-was read. We have $20.29 in the treasury. The minutes for the Boutive Committee meeting were read and approve : as read. Oosmittee reports were called for, Pat Sora reported that the scrap hook has been started for engineering open house. d e will have a space in the Mechanical engineering Building. Kay Lester re orted that pictures for the sheets for Engineering Open House will he taken soon so that the sheets can he printed "before the end of the semester, ' • • 1. Candidates for Knight's of St. Pat were elected. They are Sandra Levey and Kay Lester. New Business: 1. Vice-chairman announced her resignation. 2. Nominations wore taken for position of Vice-chairman. Kay Lester was nominated hy Lynn Granzow, Pat Sora seconded the motion, Pat Sora was nominate Eegina Kyker, the motion was seconded by Eay Lester. A written ballot was taken and Kay Lester was elected. 3- Pat Sora was elected Engineering Council Representative by a white ballot. 4. The Exutive Committee will work on revising the by-laws between semesters and during New Student ..eek. Will bo voted on in the April meeting. Good and Selfare; 1. Sandra Levey has been having Sunday evening sinner for a group of girls in engineering in order to allow them to got acquainted. 2. Sandra ^evey and M iss V/ilson attended an ongineering Council Luncheon. 3. Engineering Council needs help in the form of suggestions which nay be placed inone of four suggestion baxes on campus.
