Minutes for S.W»E, Meeting November 3* 1964 7s00 P.M. 165 Electrical Engineering Building

University of Illmois Student Section

The Student Section of the Society of ^omen Engineers met on Hov, 3 S 1964, at 7s00 P.M., in room 165 Electrical Engineering -Duxxci3.ng» The secretary's minutes were road and approved as read, .The Vice- chairman's report was called for; there was none. Hew buisness: 1. Engineering Council will be having a luncheon for the Presidents and Advisors of the Engineering Societies, Shis luncheon will be to allow the societies to become acquainted. We do not as yet have all information concerning the luncheon, 2. Petions for Engineering Open House Ceramettee Chairman may be picked up in room 248 Electrical Engineering Building, 3. Information concerning the Illini House tutoring program ean be gotten by calling at room 248 Electrical Engineering 4. vie have sold three subscriptions to Techn©graph* 5. We may have two candidates for Knights of Saint Pat. The candidates must be jttniors or seniors in the College of Engineering, who are carrying a 3*5 grade average and have been active in their college and organisation, dominations will be taken in the December meeting. 6. Open House chairmen are Marsha Williksen, literature committee, and Pat Sora, information and scrap book conmiittee. 7. Kay Lester moved that we print sheets showing how girls are active in the College of Engineering for the Engineering Open House. Kay Lester said she had access to the equiptment necessary and it would cost about $20.00, we decided on this and Kay Lester was appointed co mittee chairman. Professor Porter talked on the legal aspects of engineering. Refreshments were served. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M. Respectfully submitted,
