SWE Meeting Tuesday, September 6, 197? ?;00 pm 26.9 Electrical Engineering Building. Anne Opila opened the meeting of the Student Section of the Society of Women Engineers. The officers were introduced and each described her office. Beth Matzek reported on the 1977 SWE National Convention.. A "Jobs Notebook" was begun to organize job information from companies.. Petere Miner discussed the Academic Assistance Committee and asked for committee members. She then talked about a picnic and tour of the University of Illinois radio telescope to be held on September 22+. A panal discussion with people who had summer jobs in engineering was held and questions were entertained from the floor,. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 pm for refreshments.
