Substitute Labline environment rooms for hot pack rooms —4 718 —27 500 216 282 Total $3 482 096 The Board of Trustees further recommends to the Illinois Building Authority that all contracts other than the contract for general work be assigned to the contractor for general work, making a total for such contract $3,482,096, and that an agreement be entered into with the Pathman Construction Company, Chicago, for the assignment of these other contracts for $45,000 which amount is included in the aforesaid contract price, being the amount bid by that Company for service charge for supervision of other contracts assigned to the general contractor. PURCHASES (27) The Director of Purchases has proposed and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommends the following purchases. Unless otherwise specified, the purchase in each case is recommended on the basis of lowest acceptable bid. The recommendations are presented in two categories: purchases from Institutional Funds and purchases from Appropriated Funds (i.e., from state appropriations to the University). The former term is used here to designate funds received by the University under contracts with the United States government; contracts with private corporations and other organizations, from foundation grants, and grants from corporations and other donors; and University revolving funds authorized by law.
