BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Resolution Be it, and U hereby is, resolved by this Board of Trustees of The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a public corporation of the State of Illinois, with its principal office in the City of Urbana, County of Champaign, and Stafr of Illinois, that the Comptroller and Secretary of this Board of Tnistees be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute, acknowledge, and deliver in the name of and in behalf of this Corporation and under its Corporate Seal 3 Quit-Claim Deed and such other documents in connection therewith as said Comptroller and Secretary may deem necessary or desirable in order to convey and quit claim to Village of Mount Morris, a municipal corporation of the County of Ogle in the State of Illinois, title to the North one-half of the followingdescribed real estate: A part of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter (NW 14) of Section Thirty-five (35) in Township Twenty-four (24) North, Range Nine (9) East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point on the North line of said Section, twelve and one-half (I2V$) chains West of the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter (NW 14) of said Section and running thence West on the Section line fifteen (IS) chains, thence South thirteen and one-third (13V$) chains, thence East parallel to the Section line fifteen (15) chains, thence North thirteen and one-third (13V5) chains to place of beginning, situated in the County of Ogle, in the State of Illinois, On motion of Mr. Hughes, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Harewood, Mr. Herrick, Mr, Hughes, Mr. Johnston, M r . Pogue, Mr. Swain, M r s . Watkins. M r . WUkins, Mr. Williamson; no, none; absent, M r . Stratton.

(8) At this point President Henry presented Dr, C. W. Sanford, Dean of Admissions and Records, who reported on the enrollments for the first semester of 196061 compared with the enrollments at the beginning of the first semester of 1959-60. Copies of his report were distributed at the meeting, and a copy was filed with the Secretary for record.

EMPLOYMENT O F ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING FIRMS

(9) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend employment of the following architectural and engineering firms on new building projects for which state appropriations are being requested for 1961-63 and subsequent biennia for the services and at the fees stated: College of Commerce and Business Administration Building—Jameson and Harrison, Peoria Complete architectural services at a fee of 6 per cent of the construction contracts. Electrical Engineering Building addition —Graham, Anderson, Probst, and White, Inc., Chicago Complete architectural services at a fee of 6 per cent of the construction contracts. Medical Sciences Building addition — Shaw, Metz, and Associates, Chicago Richardson, Severns, Scheeler, and Associates, Champaign, Associate Architects The development phase, preliminary work and definitive drawings, will t* the responsibility of Richardson, Severns, Scheeler, and Associates, who will coordinate their work with that of Shaw, Metz, and Associates. The production and construction phases, working drawings, and supervision will I* the responsibility of Shaw, Metz, and Associates. Total fees will be on the basis of 6 per cent of construction contracts. Research and Educational Hospitals addition —Fugard, Burt, Wilkinson, ami Orth, Chicago Complete services at a fee of 6 per cent of the construction contracts.
