(28) The Vice-President and Provost and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend assignments of funds from the University's Genera] Reserve, and from funds available in the State capital appropriations to the University for 1959-61 for remodeling, for the following: 1. Housing Division, expansion of educational programming in residence halls $ 11 175 00 Improvement in lighting of dining room and installation of shelving to serve as library $3 375 Wages for student assistants 1 200 Books 5 000 Art exhibits 1 600 2. CONTRACT FOR VETERINARY RESEARCH FARM ISOLATION UNIT

(29) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend award of a contract for $7,218,87 to Dean Evans Company, Champaign, the lowest bidder, for the construction of the second isolation unit for the Veterinary Research Farm. Funds are available in a grant from the Moorman Manufacturing Company for this project. I concur.
