WHEREAS The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a public corporation of the State of Illinois with its principal office in Urbana, Illinois, has been requested by the Illinois Building Authority to transfer jurisdiction of said real estate for the construction of said building. Now, Therefore, Be It and It Is Hereby Resolved by The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, as follows : Section 1: That the Comptroller and the Secretary of The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois be, and they hereby are, authorized to execute, acknowledge, and deliver in the name and on behalf of this corporation, an instrument of transfer of jurisdiction to the property described in the attached document entitled "Instrument of Transfer"1 dated September 20, 1967, which said form of Instrument of Transfer is, by this reference, incorporated in and made a part of this Resolution.

On motion of Mr. Swain, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Grimes, Mr. Hahn, Mr. Hughes, Mr. Johnston, Mr. Jones, Mr. Page, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Swain; no, none; absent, Governor Kerner, Dr. Weatherly.

CONTRACT FOR AUTOMATIC LAWN SPRINKLER SYSTEM FOR MALL AREAS, MEDICAL CENTER

(18) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend award of a contract for $13,300 to Muellermist Irrigation Co., Broadview, the lowest bidder, for furnishing and installing the irrigation system in the Mall area located adjacent and south of the Chicago Illini Union at the Medical Center. The system will provide for the irrigation of the landscaping in the Mall and the Union Building areas which now has to be done by tank truck. Funds are available in state capital appropriations to the University and have been released. I concur. O n motion of Mr. Swain, this contract was awarded by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Grimes, Mr. Hahn, M r . Hughes, Mr. Johnston, Mr. Jones, Mr. Page, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Swain; no, none; absent, Governor Kerner, Dr. Weatherly.

EMPLOYMENT OF PLANNING CONSULTANTS

(19) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend the employment of the following firms for architectural studies and consulting services on long-range campus planning as directed by the University. Chicago Circle Campus Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Chicago, at a fee of actual costs of technical personnel at customary hourly rates plus ISO per cent. Urbana-Champaign Campus Harry Weese & Associates, Chicago, at a fee of actual costs of technical personnel at customary hourly rates plus ISO per cent. Funds for the Chicago Circle campus work are available in state capital appropriations to the University, subject to release by the Governor. The assignment of $15,000 from the Urbana-Champaign General Reserve is recommended for the work at Urbana-Champaign. I concur. On motion of Mr. H a h n , this recommendation was approved by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Grimes, Mr. Hahn, Mr. Hughes, Mr. Johnston, Mr. Jones, Mr. Page, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Swain; no, none; absent, Governor Kerner, Dr. Weatherly.
