vided that upon the death of the survivor of the life beneficiaries the trust was to terminate and $100,000 "shall be paid to the medical department of the University of Illinois to establish a research fund in mental and nervous diseases, to be known as the 'Sanger Brown Fund.' T h e income therefrom only shall be used." The trustee under the Will has advised the University that the contingencies specified in the document have occurred and it is now prepared to distribute the $100,000 t o the University on the conditions stated, provided it is furnished with a resolution by the Board of Trustees accepting the bequest. Accordingly, I recommend acceptance of the bequest and the adoption of the following resolution. Resolution WHEREAS, Bella Christy Brown, departed this life on 3-22-39, leaving a last will and testament which has been duly admitted t o probate in Cook County, Illinois, and which contains provisions for a bequest as follows: Article Fourth, paragraph k : " . . . and upon the death of the survivor, I direct the said trust estate shall terminate and the corpus shall be divided as follows: (1) One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) shall be paid to the Medical Department of the University of Illinois to establish a research fund in mental and nervous diseases, t o be known as the "Sanger Brown Fund". T h e income therefrom only shall be used. Now Therefore, be it resolved that said bequest be and the same is hereby accepted by the said University of Illinois for the uses and purposes therein set forth and Be it further resolved that H . O. Farber as Comptroller of said University of Illinois be and he is hereby authorized to accept payment on behalf of said corporation of said bequest, and to execute and deliver to T h e Northern Trust Company as Trustee under the Last will and testament of the said Bella Christy Brown, deceased, the receipt of the said corporation in satisfaction thereof.

On motion of Mr. Swain, the foregoing resolution was adopted.
