1966] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 265 ACQUISITION OF PROPERTIES AT 9 0 4 - 9 0 4 % SOUTH SIXTH STREET AND 9 0 8 SOUTH SIXTH STREET, CHAMPAIGN (32) At the request of the University, condemnation proceedings by the Illinois Building Authority are pending for acquisition of the properties at 904-904V4 South Sixth Street and 908 South Sixth Street, Champaign, Illinois. A trial date of November 14, 1966, has been set for 904-9041/$ South Sixth Street, and of December 12, 1966, for 908 South Sixth Street, Champaign. In order to expedite possible settlements under Illinois Building Authority requirements, it is desirable for the Board to take action at this time. The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend that in the event a settlement offer is received from the owners of either property that is within the appraisals received by the Illinois Building Authority, the Illinois Building Authority be requested to authorize the acquisition of that property at the price offered. I concur. On motion of M r . Jones, this recommendation was approved by the following vote: Aye, M r . Clement, M r . Dilliard, M r . Hughes, M r . Johnston, M r . Jones, M r . Page, M r .
