Lot Nine (9) in Block Forty-two (42) in the Seminary Addition to Urhana, situated in the City of Urbana, in the County of Champaign, and State of Illinois, at an acquisition price of Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) and with title to be conveyed to, or vested by Judgment Order in, and possession delivered to, the Illinois Building Authority not later than January 1, 1967. Be It, and It Hereby Is Further Resolved that the Comptroller and Secretary of this public corporation be, and they are hereby are, authorized and directed, to execute in the name of, and on behalf of, this public corporation such lease agreement or other document or documents, and to secure and submit appraisals and such other documentation, as they may deem to be necessary or desirable in order to effectuate such conveyance of title to the Illinois Building Authority and to secure to this public corporation the beneficial use of said property. PURCHASE AND SALE OF PROPERTY FOR PSYCHOLOGY BUILDING SITE. URBANA-CHAMPAIGN CAMPUS (31) At its meeting on July 27, 1966, the Board authorized acquisition by condemnation of a strip of ground three inches by 87.35 feet, which was owned by unknown parties. This land will be used as part of the site for the Psychology Building, the balance of which is to be owned by the Illinois Building Authority. A jury award was returned in the Circuit Court of Champaign County on October 27, 1966, finding the value of the property to be $275 and requiring payment to be made to the County Treasurer of Champaign County of that amount by December 1, 1966. T h e Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend that the payment of the $275 be temporarily financed from General Contract Reserves and that the Illinois Building Authority be requested to purchase the property at that price as part of the land it is acquiring and leasing to the University under a lease dated March 20, 1964. I concur and request the adoption of the following resolution. Resolution Authorizing Conveyance of a Three Inch Strip of Land Within the P s y c h o l o g y Building Site to the Illinois Building Authority Be It, and It Is Hereby, Resolved by The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a public corporation of the State of Illinois, that the Comptroller and Secretary of this corporation be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed, to execute, acknowledge, and deliver, in the name, and in behalf of, this corporation, and under its Corporate Seal, a Warranty Deed and such other documents in connection therewith as said Comptroller and Secretary may deem necessary or desirable in order to convey to the Illinois Building Authority, a body corporate and politic of the State of Illinois, duly organized and existing pursuant to "An Act to create the Illinois Building Authority and to define its powers and duties," approved August 15, 1961, as amended, title to the following described property, viz: T h e North Twenty-five Hundredths (.25) feet of the South One Hundred and Twenty-five Hundreths (100.25) feet of Lot Four (4) in Block One (1) of A. T. Hall's Addition to the City of Champaign, situated in the City of Champaign, in the County of Champaign, and State of Illinois; for, and in consideration of, the payment by said Illinois Building Authority of the sum of Two Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($275.00) to this corporation.
