On motion of Mr. Williamson, these leaves were granted as recommended.

DESIGNATION OF EMPLOYEES SUBJECT TO DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS OF PROVISIONAL CODE (7) A t the February 21, 1968, meeting of this Board, it was indicated that recommendations would be made concerning University employees to be designated by the Board to file written disclosures under Section 3A of the Provisional Code of Conduct, promulgated by the Board of Higher Education. The Code, issued under Article 5 of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act (Senate Bill No. 506, Seventyfifth General Assembly) and now in effect in its present form, was referred for study to Faculty Senates and nonacademic representatives on each campus at the February 21, 1968, meeting. Therefore, I recommend that the Board of Trustees so designate the following employees: Officers of the Board Who Are Employees Comptroller Assistant Comptroller Assistant Treasurer Secretary Assistant Secretary General Officers of the University President Executive Vice-President and Provost Vice-President and Comptroller of the University1

1 The President of the Board, with the other Trustees, is subject to Article 4, Part 2 of the Act which provides that "Elected Officials in the Executive Department" shall file disclosure statements of "economic interest and relationships likely to create conflicts of interest" with the Board of Ethics created under the Act.
