Funds for this work are available in state capital appropriations to the University and have been released by the Governor.

On motion of Mr. Clement, this contract was awarded by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Hughes, Mr, Swain; no, none; absent, none.

CONTRACTS FOR EMERGENCY POWER GENERATOR AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT FOR UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS HOSPITAL, MEDICAL CENTER

(13) The President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends the award of the following contracts for a gasengine-driven generator and associated equipment for emergency power in selected areas of the University of Illinois Hospital, the award in each case being on the low base bid. Electrical — G & M Electrical Contractors Co., Chicago $25 434 Process Piping — Admiral Heating and Ventilating, Inc., Hillside 3 622 Funds for this work are available in the state capital appropriations to the University for FY 1970 and have been released by the Governor. Submitted herewith is a schedule of bids received, a copy of which is being filed with the Secretary of the Board for record. O n motion of M r . Clement, these contracts were awarded by the following vote: Aye, M r . Clement, M r . H u g h e s , Mr. Swain; no, none; absent, none.

AGREEMENT W I T H COMMONWEALTH EDISON COMPANY FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE TO COLLEGE O F DENTISTRY B U I L D I N G , PHASE I, MEDICAL CENTER

(14) The President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends execution of an agreement with the Commonwealth Edison Company, Chicago, to install primary feeders, transformers, and control equipment at a total cost of $12,244 to serve the College of Dentistry Building, Phase I, now being constructed at the Medical Center campus. Funds are available in a grant received from the Commonwealth Edison Company. On motion of M r . Swain, this recommendation was approved by the following vote: Aye, M r . Clement, M r . H u g h e s , M r . Swain; no, n o n e ; absent, none.

CONTRACTS FOR U N D E R G R O U N D C O N D U I T A N D PIPING WORK FOR STEAM SERVICE FOR INTRAMURAL-PHYSICAL EDUCATION BUILDING A N D FREER GYMNASIUM. URBANA

(15) The President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends award of the following contracts for the projects listed, the award in each case being on the low base bid. Project Contractor Amount Concrete conduit and piping Kuhne-Simmons Co., Inc., $19 900 work for steam service to Champaign the Intramural-Physical Education Building (P-67) Piping work for steam Bellis & Miller, Inc., 21 949 service to Freer Champaign Gymnasium (P-68) Funds for these projects are available in state capital appropriations to the University and have been released by the Governor.
