HEADSHIP OF THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY CLINICAL MEDICINE. URBANA (28) The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine has recommended to the Chancellor at Urbana-Champaign the appointment of Dr. Allan J. Cawley, presently Professor and Head, Small Animal Section, Ontario Veterinary College, Guelph, Canada, as Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine beginning February 1, 1970, on a twelve-month service basis, at an annual salary of $26,500. Dr. Cawley will succeed Dr. Loyd F. Boley who has accepted the position of Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the College of Veterinary Medicine. The nomination of Dr. Cawley is made with the advice of a search committee 1 and after consultation with members of the faculty of the Department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine. The nomination is supported by the Executive Committee of the College and the Dean of the Graduate College. The Chancellor at UrbanaChampaign approves the recommendation.
