That the Illinois Building Authority be and it hereby is requested to provide the foregoing projects and facilities at the Chicago Circle campus and the Urbana-Champaign campus and to lease the same to the University of Illinois as provided in the Illinois Building Authority Act. Section 2. That the Comptroller and the Secretary of this Board of Trustees be, and they hereby are, authorized to execute, acknowledge, and deliver in the name and on behalf of this corporation such instruments of transfer, conveyance, lease, contract, and other documents as are necessary or appropriate in order to provide for the carrying out of the foregoing projects and facilities by the Illinois Building Authority. AUTHORIZATION UNDER CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES, CHICAGO CIRCLE (10) On August 20, 1969, the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees approved the employment of Samuel Arthur Lichtmann, Chicago, for complete architectural services for miscellaneous remodeling projects at the Chicago Circle campus at a fee of 9 per cent plus actual cost for reimbursable expenses authorized by the University. Payments for these services are to be made from funds budgeted for each project on which the University authorizes the architect to proceed. The President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends, subject to release of funds by the Governor, an authorization under this contract in an estimated amount of $31,770 for complete architectural and engineering services for remodeling a portion of the third floor in the Racine Avenue Building, Chicago Circle, for use as surge office space. Funds are available in state capital approapriations to the University for Fiscal Year 1970, subject to release by the Governor. O n m o t i o n of M r .
