versity under its option to purchase as provided for in the Term Lease, the University's obligation to renew as herein provided shall terminate. 3. Subject to the approval of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare of the United States of America, to transfer or assign to the University of Illinois Foundation those funds ($1,082,615) to be received by the University pursuant to a certain Grant Agreement by and between The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois and the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, Office of Education, Bureau of Higher Education, dated May 18, 1967, for Project Number ILL 4-2770 made pursuant to Title I of the Higher Education Facilities Act of 1963, now designated as Project Number 4-5-00034-0. 4. To commit this public corporation to act as agent for Foundation in the supervision of construction and administration of contracts therefor and change orders thereto, and the administration and service of the indebtedness of the Foundation incurred for this project, and in making payments of and disbursements from and of funds made available by the creditor of Foundation for the purpose of said construction project. 5. To sign, execute, acknowledge and deliver any and all other documents and instruments deemed; necessary or desirable by said Comptroller and said Secretary to accomplish the purposes herein set forth.

On motion of Mr. Clement, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Hughes, Mr. Swain; no, none; absent, none.

APPROPRIATIONS FOR NONRECURRING EXPENDITURES

(2) The Chancellor of the Urbana-Champaign campus recommends the following appropriation from the Urbana-Champaign General Reserve : College of Communications Radio Station — relocation and modernization of WILL-FM transmitter $ 92 000 00 After review by the Medical Center Committee on Nonrecurring Appropriations, the Chancellor of the Medical Center campus recommends the following appropriations from the Medical Center General Reserve : College of Pharmacy Department of Chemistry — equipment $ 15 340 00 Renovation and Remodeling for which funds are assigned to the Physical Plant Department: Remodeling and cleaning of the ventilation system in the Medical Research Laboratory 41 000 00 Total, Medical Center General Reserve $ 56 340 00 Grand Total $148 340 00 The Executive Vice President and Provost and the Vice President and Comptroller concur. I recommend approval.

CONTRACT FOR UNDERGROUND PIPING WORK FOR CHILLED WATER SERVICE TO SMITH MEMORIAL HALL, URBAN A

(3) The President of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends award of a contract to Bellis & Miller, Inc., Champaign, the low bidder, for the sum of $29,385 for construction of chilled water service to Smith Memorial Hall, Urbana. Funds are available in the 1967-69 state capital appropriations to the University and have been released by the Governor. Submitted herewith is a report from the Physical Plant Department, including a schedule of bids received, a copy of which is being filed with the Secretary of the Board for record.
