Date: , 1969 I.B.A. Project No. 2-00-7S-017 Construct Music Building University of Illinois, Urbana Campus Instrument of Transfer In accordance with the provisions of "An Act to create the Illinois Building Authority and to define its powers and duties," approved August IS, 1961, as amended, and Resolution No. 69 IBA 5, adopted on the 23rd day of January, 1969 by the Illinois Building Authority, a body corporate and politic of the State of Illinois, created under said mentioned Act, requesting the transfer of jurisdiction of certain described real estate to the Illinois Building Authority. Now, Therefore, the undersigned The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a body corporate and politic of the State of Illinois, does hereby transfer jurisdiction of the following real estate to the Illinois Building Authority, to w i t : Situated in the State of Illinois, the County of Champaign, the City of Urbana, being a part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 19 North, Range 9 East of the Third Principal Meridian, and being all of Lots 16 and 17 and a part of Lot 18 of the Forestry Heights Addition to the City of Urbana and being all of Lots 21, 22, and 23 and part of Lots 19 and 20 of University Addition to the City of Urbana, and being more fully described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the North right-of-way Line of Nevada Street and the East right-of-way Line of Goodwin Avenue of the City of Urbana, being the Southwest Corner of Lot 18 of Forestry Heights Addition to the City of Urbana, thence North along the East right-of-way Line of Goodwin Avenue and the West Line of the said Lot 18 a distance of Ninety-one and forty hundredths (91.40) feet; thence East parallel to the North right-of-way Line of Nevada Street a distance of Sixty-four (64.0) feet, to a point being One (1.00) feet West of the West Line of Lot 17 Forestry Heights Addition; thence North parallel to the West Line of Lot 17 of Forestry Heights Addition and parallel to the East right-of-way Line of Goodwin Avenue a distance of Sixty-five and ninety hundredths (65.90) feet to a point One and thirty hundredths (1.30) feet North of the North Line of Forestry Heights Addition; thence East parallel to the North Line of Forestry Heights Addition a distance of Sixty-four and sixty hundredths (64.60) feet to a point being One and Forty hundredths (1.40) feet West of the West Line of Lot 21 of University Addition; thence North parallel to the West Line of Lot 21 of University Addition and parallel to the East right-of-way Line of Goodwin Avenue a distance of One hundred Fifty-five and eighty-three hundredths (155.83) feet, to the South right-of-way Line of Oregon Street; thence East along the South rightof-way Line of Oregon Street a distance of One hundred Ninety-six and forty hundredths (196.40) feet, to the East Line of Lot 23 of University Addition; thence South along the East Line of Lot 23 of University Addition and parallel to the East right-of-way Line of Goodwin Avenue a distance of One hundred Fifty-seven and sixteen hundredths (157.16) feet, to the South Line of University Addition; thence West along the South Line of University Addition a distance of One hundred Thirty (130.0) feet, to the East Line of Lot 16 of Forestry Heights Addition; thence South along the East Line of Lot 16 of Forestry Heights Addition a distance of One hundred Fifty-six (156.0) feet, to the North right-of-way Line of Nevada Street; thence West along the North right-of-way Line of Nevada Street a distance of One hundred Ninety-five (195.0) feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning. Containing One and thirty-five hundredths (1.35) Acre, more or less. Being the site upon which the Illinois Building Authority is to construct and complete a Music Building for the University of Illinois at the Urbana-Champaign Campus. I N WITNESS WHEREOF, The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a body corporate and politic of the State of Illinois, has caused this instrument to be executed by its Comptroller, pursuant to due authorization of its Board of Trustees, and its seal to be hereunto affixed and attested by the Secretary of The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, all as of the day of , 1969.
